CNA · Birth & Postpartum Doula · Newborn Care Specialist · Sleep Consultant · Social Work Graduate
My name is Elizabeth Nshimirimana, and I am the founder of Ingabire Family Services. As a Burundian American woman and the oldest of ten children, caregiving has been a natural part of my life from a young age. Being raised in a large family taught me responsibility, compassion, and the importance of showing up for others during both joyful and difficult seasons.
I am a Certified Nursing Assistant, trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, Sleep Consultant, and a Social Work graduate serving families throughout the U.S. My background in social work shapes the way I approach care — with compassion, cultural humility, and a trauma-informed, family-centered perspective. I believe true care goes beyond physical support and must also honor emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Ingabire Family Services is deeply rooted in my faith and guided by Christian values of love, service, compassion, and respect for human dignity. I believe caring for others is sacred work — whether I am supporting parents as they welcome a newborn or walking alongside a family caring for a loved one in their final season of life.
I am also deeply committed to ongoing growth and learning. I continually seek additional training, education, and professional development to ensure I am providing the highest quality, evidence-informed, and compassionate care possible for the families I serve.
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Galatians 6:2
